“Smell of Malaga: Olfactory perceptions of colección olorVISUAL is an exhibition designed especially for the city. The places, historical facts and popular personages of Malaga have provided the curator with olfactory memories, which were then associated with the olfactory notes present in the sample: saltpeter, tobacco, white flower, etc. And each note has been related to a selection of works from the collection. This is how the 55 participants in the exhibition were chosen from contemporary national and international artists such as Alberto Corazón, Joan Hernández Pijoan, Hugo Fontela, Agustín Ibarrola and Hannah Collins, among others, representing artistic techniques such as video, installation, sculpture, painting and photography.
The exhibition will be open from May 20 to July 23, 2017 at the Museum of Municipal Heritage of Malaga. Salas de La Coracha
